We are pleased to announce our newest Board member; Nathan Bonilla. We know Nate's enthusiasm for North Bay BMX and the sport overall will certainly be a big plus for the track! Thanks to Nathan for his willingness to bring his expertise to North Bay BMX. Nate will have bigger presence at the track including regular clinics for all ages and skill levels.

We still need to fill some additional Board positions. Mark Headley, Board President and a board member since 2006, will not seek re-election. Kelly Molles, Treasurer, will also not seek re-election in order to focus on managing the Napa Valley Crush BMX team. These two positions will need to be filled and a nominating committee has been formed to help with the process. Nominees will be officially nominated and voted on at the annual meeting to be held in early, 2010. All current Board members are listed at the bottom of this page .

 If you are interested in becoming a Board member or just have questions about it, please talk to any current Board member or our Track Operator Eric Jones. 

North Bay BMX has remodeled the track. We were happy to have had the UCI and Olympic track builder Tom Ritz come and help with the track layout and design. Tom was here for a couple weeks to help with construction too. We feel we've got an awesome track that will continue to get better as we dial it in over the next few months.

Our track remodel goals:

• The track is to be safe for all riders
• The track can be ridden by a 5 year old novice (and novices of all ages)
• The track will challenge experienced riders
• Improved track surface
• Improved spectator viewing

We STILL need volunteer workers!

We still need to plant trees, install irrigation lines, repair benches & bleachers, install fencing, improve the track surface, groom the infield, etc. Work days to be announced soon!

North Bay BMX would like to welcome a familiar face to the Track Operator position. Eric Jones has made the transition from Board VP to Track Operator for 2009. We thank Eric for his willingness to take on this very important position. A huge round of thanks and gratitude goes out to James Hardee for his work as Track Operator, Board President and the founding member responsible for bringing BMX back to Napa. And as we all know, both of these guys would not be getting this praise if it weren't for the tremendous support they get from their wives and families who have worked and sacrificed to make it all happen.
