North Bay BMX is a non-profit track and relies on volunteers. We need additional volunteers to help with track operations. If you ride and race at our track, please consider donating time to help out. Remember that no one can do everything, but everyone can do something

We need volunteers to help with the following:

• Race Day Operations (Saturday)
• Snack bar
  
• Work parties and track maintenance
• Sponsorships

If you can help, please let us know at the registration table. 

North Bay BMX Welcomes New Board Members

North Bay BMX held a Board meeting in March to discuss many items, one of which was bringing on new Board members. Names were submitted, people were nominated and votes were counted. We are VERY pleased to announce the following people to the NBBMX Board of Trustees for 2013:

• Missy Andrews
• Linda Duran
• Amy Miller

North Bay BMX President, Mark Headley, announced that he would be stepping down at the end of June this year. North Bay BMX needs a person to step into this position that is willing to do much of the "behind the scenes" work to keep North Bay BMX running and its non-profit status current with the state regulatory organization. If you think you've got what it takes, or would like to nominate someone, please make that known to us. Any current Board member is a potential candidate for this position. Please remember that this is not a popularity contest. Nominees for President must be willing to roll their sleeves up and get things done. Things like negotiating the operating agreement with the City of Napa, making sure the taxes get done every year and maintaining the status of of organization in the community. It's not a glamorous role, but a very important one for the continued growth of our sport in our community.

If you or a family member race at our track, please consider volunteering at any level. Nobody can do everyhting, but everybody can do something. Help support NBBMX!

ATTENTION ALL NORTH BAY BMX FAMILIES:

Please observe the posted speed limit when entering and driving in Kennedy Park. Keeping the park safe for all is everyone's responsibility. We know that BMXers can be a positive example of good citizens in the park. Thanks!
